Brother Creating History:
50 Years in America The second part of the exhibition traced the 50 years of Brothers’ history, beginning in 1954 with sewing machines and typewriters to the latest computers. Images of political and cultural events, and actual garments from each 10-year period are shown next to examples of how Brother’s revolutionary products evolved. It’s seems only fitting that one of the first retail offices for Brother began on 27th Street, just steps away from the exhibit. |
