How do you apply magnetic snaps?
Magnetic Snaps add a professional finish to purses and totes.

To use:

Position prongs on the back of the snap on the right side of the fabric where they will be placed; push prongs into fabric to mark position.
Use very sharp scissors to cut a slit long enough for prongs to slide through.
To prevent metal support piece of the magnetic from cutting fabric, place a piece of lightweight cardboard over the metal prongs on the wrong side of the fabric.
Slide the metal support piece over the cardboard; use pliers to bend the prongs flat over the metal support piece.

Marking the snaps position on the fabric.		Place plastic canvas over prongs.
Fold back prongs to secure.		Finished snaps
